genuinely crazy-making how much the national press is indifferent to the verifiable fact that jd vance is buddy buddy with internet nazis, and the degree to which this is almost certainly a form of solidarity among people with a similar institution pedigree

Cuomo's campaign is banking on voters like this
Reposted by Esther
Absolutely insane strategy. Let's see how it works out for him.
Defend NYC, a pro-Cuomo super PAC operated by Trump adviser Jason Meister, is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on sending out this text message to NYC voters, hoping it'll convince them to vote Cuomo for mayor, new filings show.

I forgot to note that this was a thread, so: Here is a 🧵🧵 on the direct connections between Heritage Foundation, Nick Fuentes and the far-right Texas billionaire who is fueling the rise of Christian nationalism. If you do not already know a lot about Tim Dunn, I recommend changing that.
Two years ago, Nick Fuentes was so toxic that, after I reported on a secret meet he had with a top Texas GOP donor, the party was engulfed in scandal and voted to explicitly ban Holocaust deniers/Neo Nazis.

Today, Heritage Foundation effectively said that "no enemies to our right" includes Fuentes.

Many immigrants who registered to self-deport say DHS never followed through.

One mother didn’t enroll her son in school because she thought they would be long gone.

“I don’t want to be here anymore,” she sobbed. “What am I supposed to do?”

After bringing white South Africans to the United States as refugees earlier this year, the Trump administration has now granted protection to members of far-right European parties.

This plan, which becomes official today, makes the country's refugee program into a tool for white nationalism.

At least 3,000 people who have been detained in Chicago ICE raids are missing from official DHS records.

We still don’t know what happened to the 1200 people who went missing from the Everglades facility.

They’re disappearing people.

No due process. No accountability.

Childhood diagnosis didn’t get her needed support, or even understanding, because they didn’t understand autism at all back then.

You can’t know for sure how your life would be different if you’d been diagnosed earlier, but it wouldn’t necessarily have been better. Don’t beat yourself up. 2/2

Many late-diagnosed #autistic people feel regretful or angry that they weren’t diagnosed sooner. I understand why, but if it helps at all:

My sister was diagnosed when we were kids & her diagnosis just got her put in torturous ABA therapy & SPED classes that didn’t challenge her intellectually. 1/2
