I saw a pic of Lum earlier and it brought back memories of when I did 80-column ANSI art on my first PC in the early 90s.
The time and patience I had as a teen! Everything done w/ keyboard, you had to work in 25-line chunks, copy them together, and hope that it looked OK afterwards.
