I am so excited for this book that I co-edited with @drkarenlord.bsky.social and @annaleen.bsky.social and featuring speculative stories about collective action from incredible writers, plus essays and interviews with activists - if you're excited too, now is a great time to pre-order!

It's Passover, and you can not stream "The Ten Commandments" on ANY streaming service. Truly a breakdown of late stage capitalism.

I love pre-ordering books, they just appear on your doorstep like magic, after you forgot you ordered them.

Can't wait to read the newest from @adapalmer.bsky.social and @amalelmohtar.com !

1000% this. Public libraries are actually pretty radical--free to all, and based on the idea that info should be available to all. Get a library card! Use your library! Those numbers often play into their funding.
I also keep thinking that we have to support our libraries.

Spent the morning shoveling snow with my kid. We talked about how--because the world is increasingly stupid, unkind, and selfish--we need to work hard at being curious, kind, and helpful to others. Even if we're just starting with shoveling the walk for our community.

Please do not lose the ability to identify bullshit when you see it. There is enormous pressure right now to pretend bullshit is not bullshit, and that pressure will only increase with each passing day. Please fight that, if only in your own mind, so you do not deceive yourself.

Perhaps the most amazing thing of the 21st century. How quickly solar power became economical.
“The world’s best solar power schemes now offer the ‘cheapest…electricity in history’ with the tech cheaper than coal & gas in most major countries.”

And that’s before you consider the MASSIVE (countable & uncountable) costs & consequences of the #ClimateCrisis. www.carbonbrief.org/solar-is-now...
Solar is now ‘cheapest electricity in history’, confirms IEA
