My latest ILM dot com article is very special to me. First Contact and Rogue One are two of my favorite films, and ILM was instrumental in both. Also, if you've ever wondered about my views on the relationship between Star Trek & Star Wars, you'll want to check this out! www.ilm.com/star-trek-fi...

With heavy hearts, we share that our dear friend, sister, and fellow podcaster, Subrina Wood of the SyFy Sistas, has passed away after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year. Her laughter, light, and love for fandom will never be forgotten. 💜🖖
In memoriam tribute to Subrina Wood
You deserve the best, Sam. I may be saying that as a stranger, but I know it's true. 👍🏻❤️

Vanity Fair asked me to talk about visual effects, and it was my great honor to show off some of ILM’s terrific work over the years.

My favorite part of this time of year is cozying up on chilly nights to watch Star Trek 🤓
I'm so glad to hear that progress has been made. Every step is a monumental one and something to be proud of ❤️🖖🏻
October is OCD Awareness Month, so I'm resharing my essay about Star Trek's helpful impact on my struggle with OCD. I've posted this article multiple times, but I hope you know you aren't alone 🙏🏻 www.startrek.com/news/how-sta...

SPOCK: Captain, the Enterprise is capable of taking us to any planet in this galaxy.

KIRK: Yes, Spock, but have you seen "The Inner Light"?
Star Trek is so good that even the people on Star Trek watch Star Trek 🖖🏻
Kirk and Spock watch a younger Spock on a screen in Star Trek.
Sending love and good thoughts ❤️

I'm still upset they never used the Enterprise-D's printout system after the Farpoint mission.

Starfleet spent quite a bit to install those printers!
I may still be dealing with mild after effects from my flu and COVID shots the other day 🤔
Chewbacca invents a transporter, and in the Star Wars galaxy's first transporter mishap, Han Solo and Yoda become... HAN YOLO!
Exactly 😂 I remember making a big deal that we'd surely see each other around throughout the rest of the convention, but then we never bumped into each other again. My social skills were on full display haha.
Haha. Sometimes I can't quite place someone. I saw @trekkiebill.bsky.social there and stopped short of being able to think of his name until he said "Bill" (and, admittedly, I thought he was asking if that was MY name for half a second 😂)
I did that in NJ! 😂👍🏻
Have fun! Nice to meet you at the convention 🖖🏻
It was a pleasure to meet you both yesterday!
I enjoyed my time at the Trek to New Jersey convention. Great to see old and new friends alike! 🖖🏻
I misread the sign 😐
I wondered why my travel to-do list had "Pakleds" included on it, then I realized I misread my handwriting that actually said "Pack meds" 😂
A Pakled from Star Trek.
