wanted to share that i’m now working for hachette book group in the managing editorial department 💖 this is a very exciting career development for me and i look forward to learning a lot and working on lots of books!!!!
can someone please explain to me the difference between a tv network, a tv station, a tv production company, and a tv studio, and how they relate to each other? i should understand this by now but i don’t 😔

start my part time gig Dec 9 but idk when I’ll be paid and between my mountain of cc debt, trying to plan out my 2026 con schedule and still interviewing for full time work I am .. struggling ! shop sales TRULY truly help a ton, I wouldn’t still be kicking if it wasn’t for your support so THANK YOU💕

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

For graphic novels, especially adult genre fiction, it's incredibly helpful to review it online, talk about it, recommend it to a friend—adult fiction in the graphic novel space is difficult to place, and nothing convinces readers that they'll like a book more than the personal testimonial.
If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!
