We still have a lot of work to do to deliver the two-state solution that will finally allow Israeli and Palestinian children – both – to grow up free of this cycle of violence.

Watching the Oxford 1/2 marathon today, I was struck by the runners being of every age, gender, height, build and ethnicity in contrast to Robert Jenricks comments last week. Charity fundraisers, members of athletics clubs and individuals with a common aim to finish the run. Well done everyone.

Alongside Lib Dem MPs, I've written to the Chief Constable of the British Transport Police over concerns about their decision not to investigate bike thefts outside of train and tube stations.
We've asked for action to ensure cyclists can park safely at stations, alongside a meeting to discuss this.

Excellent article and entertaining as well. Two points to make.
1. The Greater Oxford idea is being pushed by the City. Who is pushing, or even thinking about, the rumps in North and South Oxfordshire?
2. The 3 Council idea means triplicate teams in the each running social care, education, roads etc

It increasingly feels like this Government puts the whims of Trump before everything else - even our precious NHS.

Ministers must bring their plans to increase spending on drugs before Parliament without delay, so they can be properly scrutinised.

Ministers must come clean about how much this move will cost and whether it will be funded by cuts elsewhere in the NHS.
