~20% of Texans are allergic to mountain cedar pollen (Juniperus ashei), including ME.

Among people WITH allergies, 90% show an allergic reaction TO cedar pollen.

There are whole industries devoted to getting rid of them, so when I say that we NEED these botanical blights, I do so *under protest*.

A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

Anytime there is a flood in the continental US, it is the biggest story across all social media.

Apparently, the same as not true for a catastrophe in Alaska. There was a typhoon yesterday morning and much of western Alaska is now underwater with homes with people in them just floating away.

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the top two Democrats in the country STILL not endorsing the front running, and clearly popular, mayoral candidate in New York City.

If the seat is crucial, you want people who are willing to do the job, not take up a seat to make Chuck Schumer feel pretty.

And it helps when the party pushes and advocates for those candidates rather than falling over themselves to elect cancer patients receiving chemo only for saod patients to be dead within months. Or 90 year olds who you can place bets on whether they'll die of natural causes during their terms.

Gerry Connolly died in office while battling cancer. Pelosi pushed for him to be the ranking member of an oversight committee over AOC, WHILE he was getting treatment for cancer.

Then there's Diane Feinstein and her continual absence as she was dealing with dementia.

It is not ageist to point out that she is 77. It's not ageist to point out that she would be 79 if she won Collins' seat. It is not ageist to point out that she could be dead midway through her term, especially sonce that has now happened a few times within the past couple years.

Janet Milis would be 79 years old by the time she was elected. If you are unwilling to sell new candidates, then just admit you are willing to sell the seat back to Susan Collins. You can even furrow your brow as a response since that's what you seeing her seat as.

I onced pissed off a guy because I asked him what steps 2-10 were for dealing with creeping authoritarianism. He kept screaming at me because I dared to say that elected officials should do the job they wanted, not the title.
