look at how little effort it takes for someone on the conservative grievance circuit to destroy a life

millions of college kids have half assed an assignment at the last minute, you eat the F and move on

but the effort to push trans people out of public life will use whatever it can get
Worth noting that the student admits that she just threw the thing together in 30 minutes without reading the paper she was supposed to be responding to.

Hey, just in case anyone wasn’t sure, this is straight-up Naziism.

We’re already seeing death rates in ICE custody spiking through at LEAST deliberate neglect. Genocides never start right at mass murder, there’s always a period of dehumanization and “non-lethal” brutality first.
Fine: "I'm talking to my colleagues about whether we want these fake Somali refugees - who come to our country, add no value, suck our resources, defraud our govt - whether we actually want them here. I don't think Ilhan Omar shouldn't be a member of Congress - I think she shouldn't be an American"

This is plain obstruction and demands consequences.
🚨 The DOJ appears to have redacted Donald Trump’s name from the allegations made in this exhibit in the Epstein files.

Trump’s name was in the original release. Now, it’s blacked out.

See for yourself.

Nenko Gantchev should still be alive—home with his family. After 30 years contributing to Chicagoland as a small business owner and taxpayer, ICE detained him, ignored his medical needs, and he died in custody. This system is cruel, reckless, and must be held accountable.

DOJ broke the law today by refusing to produce all the Epstein files. It also broke the law by redacting information other than to protect victims. Yet, the corporate media is acting that DOJ did us a huge favor.

Now, more than ever, help build independent, pro-democracy media. hubs.ly/Q03CbHTt0

I’m so very tired of “Trump doesn’t care about that!” posts. Thank you, yes, this is not news. His lack of caring is well-documented. It’s not actually necessary to breathlessly inform people of this anymore.
NB: When I, a professor of law, profess that an act is unlawful, I am not doing it to inform the lawbreaker, but rather to inform you, the reader.

So the question “what, like you think he cares?” is inapposite. The question is whether *you* care. I think you should, which is why I bother.

Well, this is an utter disaster for science.

This gutting of peer review is very likely driven by Project 2025/OMB/Vought, very likely is about funding junk science, and very likely is coming for #NIH and biomedical research next.

The full requirements will end tourism in the United States.

WE ARE NOT AT WAR

DRUG SMUGGLING IS NOT "NARCOTERRORISM"

can you all PLEASE stop rebutting excuses that depend on accepting GOP lies

the victims were not "in the fight," they were illegally attacked

the legal action would have been interdiction
Hegseth's "fog of war" claim is nonsense, if this account of what video shows is correct: The two men obviously were visible.

Tom Cotton's claims also in doubt: Rep Smith says drugs not visible. The decision that the men were still in the fight looks very shaky:

as a grantwriter, the lack of unrestricted funding is a MASSIVE burden on nonprofits. everyone wants to fund a new shiny pilot program that makes them look like innovators. they don’t want to help make your tried and tested programs that have served the community for 50 years more sustainable
The headline I feel like is that all the philanthropic donations from billionaires typically have a shitload of restrictions.

Mackenzie is like “you’re doing work to stop something horrible or to help something good? Cool. Here’s a few hundred million.” and the paper is like “wow… so novel”
