Weaponizing the IRS to go after his political adversaries was literally one of the impeachment charges against Nixon.
Would be nice if he'd go on *Fox* and say these things to that audience. Give them a dose of reality, for a change, instead of the same old propaganda.
It would also be nice if he'd show a little humility and acknowledge that many people tried to warn him before Trump was elected, and they were right.
So that would be, what, about 11.5 million Americans? That seems within reach.
I'll give it a shot.

It's not racist and damn stupid.

It's racist, damn stupid, AND anti-Semitic.

There. Boom. Roasted.
Taylor suggested it was the result of "foul play," like some nefarious Dem operator snuck into his office, pinned the flag on his bulletin board, and nobody noticed. That strains credulity on multiple levels, but Politico quoted Taylor uncritically.
Of course they'll find the dozen or so antifa/Hamas supporter types in the crowd, and the GOP/Fox/MAGA media bubble will focus exclusively on them to the exclusion of the other 5 million or so normie Americans in attendance.
He says this stuff as if there haven't already been two No Kings protests that were entirely peaceful and were attended by millions of normie Americans, including a lot of retirees and grandparents.
Charlie Kirk paid to send 80 busloads of "patriots" to the Capitol on January 6.
For people of a certain age, the raid has a big 39th and Dalton feel to it.
I'd honestly forgotten she exists. And I'm OK with keeping it that way.
If the all of Elon Musk's net worth was liquid, funding the U.S. military would deplete the entirety of it in about four months.
I also would have accepted accept "failed clones of George Santos."
LOL. The market cratered at the beginning of trading today, then mostly recovered throughout the day, only to have Trump kill it again with his dumb missive on cooking oil.
Johnson's attempt to equate the two situations is fundamentally dishonest.

In short, he's lying. Again.

The House was out of session that week, and was supposed to return on September 29 (see below). Following the Julia Letlow precedent, Grijalva should have been sworn in on that day or the next day, but Johnson sent everyone home and has kept the House out of session ever since then.

There's a BIG difference between that and what Johnson is doing, which is deliberately keeping the House out of session -- even though it was scheduled to be in session -- to avoid swearing in Grijalva.

The special election in the Arizona 7th district was on September 23.

The special election that Julia Letlow won was on March 20, 2021. But the results weren't certified and sent to the House until the following week, when the House was on a scheduled recess from March 26-April 13. Letlow was sworn in on the second day the House was back in session.

I honestly don't think Bezos cares about subscription numbers. WaPo is a loss leader that he uses to curry favor with the administration for his other business ventures. Any money he loses on the paper is more than made up elsewhere.
Drudge right now. 🤣🤣🤣
