Nothing wrong with it per se, but it is incredibly overused, especially in bakery sandwiches. There was a phase in the early oughts when it was on EVERYTHING. My theory is it was rediscovered as something that wilts less visibly than green lettuce. 🤢

Also, "Gemüse Aufstrich". 🙄

Hooray! 😁 I'm far from an expert, but whenever I've read about early strongmen it's been a delight. I also have a persistent double take reaction when I see this picture of George Hackenschmidt: "Those are very modern-looking boots! No, wait..."

I may remember correctly, because DW probably got the idea from the Northern Pacific railroad – I think the nails were called "railroad spikes", so it was probably in Frontierland?

Same concept (yes, they both refer to the Wilhelm Reich thing), but orgonITE is basically resin with a bunch of junk in it. These "orgonite columns" are a popular grift in the German-speaking chemtrail world. And you won't believe the price on the ones being sold to the, er, awakened.

Potatober #10: Today you'll learn how to microwave a potato, even though you absolutely should not.

Not because they go KABOOM much. Because it's a waste of a delicious potato.

A short sequence illustrating that you should wash, pierce and salt your potato before microwaving it for five minutes. After this, you are informed that you should then pan fry the potato because pan fried potatoes suck. Bonis exploding potato on bottom right.
