I wonder what vampires would think of all the media humans have about them. Like would they see Twilight and cringe? Would they get invested in Buffy or V Rising? 🦇

My fellow AD/AuDHD peeps know the feeling of having the same song or part of a song loop in your head for days or weeks.

Yes! We the people have the power if we stay united! Seriously, do not use AI for ANYTHING. Boycott any company you can that uses it. (Some you can't, I know.)
we can kill them all if we just work together and ✨believe💫

Think about how you are in the shrinking bubble of people who know how to read and process the meanings of written words, and how a handful of billionaires are doing their damnedest to shrink it further.

You're in a literacy bubble, and a handful of the wealthiest freaks in history are killing it.

Imagine if one of the first astronauts were a beatboxer, and he keeps pissing off mission control by doing sick beats into the mic

Mission control demanding an update on a malfunction and he's just calmly beatboxing at them. "Damnit Johnson we just need to know the status of the air scrubber!"

Conservatives love AI because it's far easier to abuse a population that can't read, can't write, can't think, and can't tell what's real

Imagine a tech dipshit at a conference, bullshitting about how in the future we will all become one with a machine yada yada yada, when suddenly a dozen people storm the stage and start supergluing random electronic waste onto him.

man, the collective grief from older trans people at the violent death of the world we briefly hoped was coming, a world in which trans children would be recognised, loved, and helped...

yeah.

Anyone else ever think that we are actually aliens playing the most realistic game of sims ever? Like when we sleep, we log out of the game and when we wake we temporarily forget?

It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.
Exclusive: Amazon has long been USPS’s top customer, providing over $6 billion in annual revenue in 2025.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

I'm still far from where I want to be in life, but I'm the best I've ever been, and that's worth celebrating.

Customer: *walks up* "Hi, is this where I do returns?"

Me running on an hour of sleep (from the previous night's hyperfixation session), Vyvanse and about 500mg of caffiene: *looks at sign that says RETURNS in giant letters* "No."

Mine is about the same specs and also running Mint. Looking forward to exploring more retro games!
Note: I have a 6+ year old dell optiplex what has 16gb ram and integrated graphics and an SSD, running Linux Mint. Cost like $120 at the time

It plays Project Zomboid and Rimworld and CDDA and Dwarf Fortress and Portal 1/2 and Salt and Sanctuary and Hollow Knight perfectly fine with Steam's Proton.
Since genAI has completely fucked the market for home computers, I guarantee there'll be an article complaining that people are playing older and less resource-intensive games and how this is killing the AAA gaming industry

Not a single major news outlet has covered this story. There is such a blatant, obvious attempt to suppress any and all news that deals with the actual facts about transgender life and experience. As the government rolls back our rights on an unprecedented scale, we have been left out to dry.
