He's going to get some brave Minnesotans promoted at work, I would imagine.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

Property developers want to spend their own money to employ a bunch of people in blue collar skilled trades and increase the supply of housing in blue states, but incumbent homeowners might lose their free parking on the street, so it’s hard to say if that’s actually good or not.

I worked at Moderna through some years where we just had budget cut after budget cut after budget cut, as the company slowly realized (even through the Biden years) that the public was just not interested, at all, in getting an annual booster.

The public took it personally it wasn't one-and-done.

Decent chance he outs himself bragging to his buddies and to social media about it.

It's not like he's ashamed.

recently learned about “dek bass”, a sound system culture in rural West Bengal, using cassette decks and homemade systems, and it’s remarkable because 1) the music and equipment are sick and 2) the DJ always looks like he’s being briefed on a national security issue

Sure, but Schumer will wait to the point of maximum leverage then trade his vote for some magic beans, if recent history is any guide.
I do not just throw out praise for Senate Dem leadership, but this is good. It’s what we need now - Dems using their leverage where they’ve got it and refusing to budge. Make GOP own this lawless goon squad. No Dem votes for it. Support Dems who are fighting back now regardless of past beefs.
Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.

On a key chain, so you’ll always have it with you. In case you suddenly need it.

Perhaps you’ll be coaching youth sports. Or directing traffic. I’m sure there are other reasons.

As JD Vance starts trying to play "nice Gestapo" to Steven Miller's "mean Gestapo," it's worth emphasizing that what's happening in Minnesota is a direct descendant of Vance's knowingly false racist demagoguery during the campaign. "Somalis are low-IQ thieves" is "Haitians are eating your pets."

The only way I have found to have fun in Vegas is to bring binocs & head to Desert Wetlands Park & Henderson Bird Viewing Reserve (Uber driver will definitely look at you funny cause it used to be Vegas' sewage ponds).

Also Sunset Park, which you can almost walk to from the strip.

See cool birds!
Seeing a lot of "why is tourism in Vegas down?" pieces and videos and I have to think it's maybe connected to the "why does going to Vegas suck ass now?" pieces and videos I was seeing 2-3 years ago

I would think it's a prime opportunity to gouge ICE on car rental prices. And hotel prices, for that matter.

"ICE gonna soak up all the hotel rooms? Okay, but a room is 2k per night. Breakfast and parking are extra."
a free idea for investigative reporters would be to try to get to the bottom of how much DHS is spending on rental vehicles and rental vehicle replacement, because it's got to be a substantial amount.
NOW: At 32nd and 15th in South Minneapolis. federal agents smash up their car, leaving the car there while hopping in another vehicle, per bystanders. Reports of a person taken as well.
