Ventaores and Belluae are separately playable as quiet, tragic solo games, but we MUCH prefer together, as a bittersweet duet (hey, you can play both characters if you want but you gotta buy both games, thems the rules)

Not enough writers use Spite as their protagonist's motivation. In real life, it's incredibly powerful and we use it all the time. In books, it's uncommon and almost always depicted as a flaw to be overcome.

a ttrpg but it’s all tables. The cover is a table you roll on to determine which art is on the cover. There’s a table to determine who was its lead designer. there’s a table for who becomes the GM and instead of rolling dice it’s decided by how many snacks are present

An entity slithers through the racks of last season's jeans, consuming and transforming all it encounters - salespeople, garlic pretzels, teens in the arcade. It's 90s nostalgia + The Thing!

Bad things have happened here but now all is relatively quiet. There's slimy ooze crawling out of the roll-down gate of a closed store, twisted mannequins (including one stepping out of a shattered display window), and more ooze slinking above, along the hanging banners that would have advertised sales

The righthand page is a lettered map of the Basement and Lower Tunnels (yes, there are tunnels in a mall - Jen used to work at one, Jen is writing this description, and Jen affirms that real mall basements are absolutely as labyrinthine as this game suggests)
