I have to specify that I’m an accounting type of bookkeeper, not a librarian/bookseller, because I am asked where I store the books, how is it possible to sell them remotely, do I have to bring them with me, etc. pretty regularly.
What’s the worst question someone can ask after you tell them your profession? For linguists, it’s definitely “how many languages do you speak?”, but I’m curious what else is happening to the rest of y’all out there?!
