3rd Shifter, jack of all trades. Others before self. An extremely exhausted, sad, but generally nice husk of a human.

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

No judgements, but you don’t want to be a sugar baby or a trad wife. You want universal basic income and affordable housing.

It's so bizarre, for lack of better wording, to feel the need to come here and say things like, "I think hate speech and murder are extremely bad, and you shouldn't do it, actually" as if that isn't just minimum operating system requirements for humanity

Red Lobster never released a commercial with a jingle that went “Shrimply having a wonderful Fishmastime.” That’s why they went bankrupt.

Btw, the ballet dancer who posts every year on TikTok their rat costume for the Nutcracker is already posting their yearly Rat Season.

I would go back to working at a bookstore. I miss it so much even though the thought of doing in person customer service again weirds me out a little. I miss helping people find new authors & books to love. To have someone come in with "it's blue & about X" & handing it right to them.

Why am I making more soup? Well I started talking about it at work & when their eyes get all big & bright & shiny & they look like they haven't had a home cooked meal in years I feel compelled to cook for my coworkers.
Do they deserve it? Probably not.
Will it make them happy?

*leaves work early because the boss is forcing the issue even though as soon as I'm gone holds go up*
I should rest or try to relax or sleep when I get home.
*Proceeded to buy ingredients for my version of homemade Italian wedding soup & have been making mini meatballs for 20 minutes*

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

Rage so fierce I wanted to punch a hole in a wall at work last night because God forbid you read a label or look at the previous month's schedule but nope you put everything into one subaccount & waste 30-45 minutes of my time cause you are a dingus.
