Ordered Panini EFL stickers and this is the state Royal Mail delivered them in (with nary a word of apology). Box looks like it was trampled, all the boxes inside are absolutely destroyed, sticker packs damp and some missing. 🙄

This is good and all, but politicians doing media spots wearing a scarf over the top of a suit and holding a football will never not be funny to me

This is good and all, but politicians doing media spots wearing a scarf over the top of a suit and holding a football will never not be funny to me
At a certain point Silksong ceases to be a fun challenge and becomes a test of your tolerance for tedious repetition and rote learning. It’s a shame because the art and music are gorgeous, and I truly want to see it finished.

Went out to see a movie tonight. We were late leaving but wanted to grab a bite beforehand so popped into a bar and ordered chicken tenders and a drink. Time is ticking by, and I know we have to leave or risk being late so I go up to the bar to find out what the story is.

Because I’m off sick and have a raging sore throat I treated myself to a box of mars ice creams from Tesco. But they’ve clearly been allowed to melt and refrozen with horrible ice crystals inside. Need a volunteer to return them by inserting them into a member of staff.

A good reminder that disabilities are often invisible to others.
I used to work as a bus driver. Pulled up at the stop and the lass there asked me where I was going. I told her I says where I am going on the front. She replied " I am partially sighted". I never did that again.

A kid flying a drone in the park got it caught high in a tree. Went home and got a balloon, inflated it with helium, tied a length of twine to it and let it out until I could use it to shake the branch which eventually got it free. All those episodes of MacGuyver finally paid off.
