There is a humorous error message in Paper Mario: Color Splash. When loading Luigi, the game does a quick "bone check" to see if his position is defined. If he fails his bone check, the developer console prints out "Luigi is elegal!!", likely a misspelling of "Luigi is illegal".

Nah you’d have to pay me to play this.

Unless their original ticket was on Avanti West Coast, in which case it could easily just be a rail replacement bus service.
If a man finds himself a passenger on the bang bus having attained the age of 26, he can count himself a failure in life.

Does Italian football have anything resembling a ‘fit and proper owner’ test (I doubt it)? Because lol.

(And I consider myself a Juventus fan!)
So like, holders of tether earn no interest on the underlying assets and Tether has so much money it has no idea what to do with it? Sounds cool.

I often find myself thinking about how there’s so many obvious self-imposed existential threats to civilisation, and Fermi’s Paradox. Like, is it a natural inevitability that at a certain scale societies break down because stupid can scale faster and more harmfully than clever?
it's actually kinda funny in a way to get to the finish line of curing cancer and having the government go eh you know what. never mind
A tiny trial in New York has shown that personalized mRNA vaccines can provoke massive, lasting immune responses against pancreatic cancer, even as sweeping federal cuts now threaten the fragile labs required to produce them.

I actually found footage of Howard Stableford in his knitted Tomorrow’s World Christmas Quiz knitted sweater. Check out its majesty!

Mate the top-rated American TV drama of all time is about a guy who can’t afford his healthcare so he becomes a drug dealer.
Roger Marshall: "We want patients to become consumers again. We want patients to see what the actual prices are. We believe that if we would add the price tags to this bill, that it would save the country a trillion dollars a year."

Started rewatching The Fellowship of the Ring and while it’s always going to have some nostalgia value, and some bits are genuinely awesome, it’s also pretty cringe in lots of ways. Some awful dialogue and so many pointless action segments.

How long is it going to take people to realise that AI is a cancer metastasising in the infrastructure of modern society? It will consume anything of value to it, regardless of the harm it does. www.theverge.com/report/83950...
RAM is ruining everything
RAM-related price hikes are about to hit a bunch more devices.

When they’re not distracted by the socialism scaremongering, people actually kind of like the sound of socialist policies.
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

Also: no poems about a tree every 5 pages.
Everyone imitates Tolkien all the time except when it comes to the one way it would really matter: making the protagonist of your novel for children a short, fat, 50-year-old man who doesn't want to do anything.

Ordered Panini EFL stickers and this is the state Royal Mail delivered them in (with nary a word of apology). Box looks like it was trampled, all the boxes inside are absolutely destroyed, sticker packs damp and some missing. 🙄

This is good and all, but politicians doing media spots wearing a scarf over the top of a suit and holding a football will never not be funny to me

At a certain point Silksong ceases to be a fun challenge and becomes a test of your tolerance for tedious repetition and rote learning. It’s a shame because the art and music are gorgeous, and I truly want to see it finished.

Went out to see a movie tonight. We were late leaving but wanted to grab a bite beforehand so popped into a bar and ordered chicken tenders and a drink. Time is ticking by, and I know we have to leave or risk being late so I go up to the bar to find out what the story is.

Once again thinking about how psychopaths are 4x as prevalent amongst CEOs than the general population.
