No they don’t. Canada and Mexico want none of this. They want the president of the United States to respect and abide by the trade treaty he negotiated with them - and not make up bogus pretexts for plunging us all into a gratuitous no win economic debacle.

Beyond appalling.
BREAKING: The Trump administration has instructed organizations in other countries to stop disbursing HIV medications purchased with U.S. aid, even if the drugs have already been obtained and are sitting in local clinics.

PEPFAR’s computer systems also are being taken offline, a sign that the program may not return, as Republican critics had hoped.

Just another reason in the long list of why Jackie chan is a dickhead.
And it is a long list.
Remember that time when Jackie Chan made a movie in Assad-controlled Syria because they really wanted the bombed out aesthetics

Very moving to see South Korean citizens exercising their right to protest. This is a society that understands their democratic rights are fragile and must be defended.
Angry #SouthKorean citizens protesting after the National Assembly failed to impeach President Yoon tonight.

I know it's hard for Western countries to look to the rest of the world as role models for anything, but damn, Western politicians could really learn a thing or two from South Koreans about going all in to defend democracy

(specifically thinking of Germany & the US rn, but I'm sure there's more)
Democratic Party aides are shown spraying fire extinguishers at the infiltrating army to keep them back.

I just want to add that I am a South Korean citizen and Seoul resident and I am *extremely* proud of South Korean democracy and this president has violated something I hold sacrosanct

Leaving HK for 3m today, not ready to leave. As usual. Only thing for it is the certainty of small pleasures. Enjoyed this, strolling along (because you can only go at strolling speed eating an ice cream) with all the tourists. Cheers to all, residents and visitors alike, who really fucking love HK.

It’s been an amazing part of the American experiment honestly. People use freedom of speech to work themselves up into hysteria and despite being more well fed and entertained then anyone else in human history are able to convince themselves they are doomed victims and must turn to authoritarianism.
