there's a subset of jurassic park fandom that only cares about the dinosaur fights, they know all the nicknames, they discuss matchups like it's fantasy wrestling, i find it very endearing

ok, no consensus on Kate Capshaw's Chinese rendition of 'anything goes' in 'temple of doom' - might be a decent translation, or terrible, or specifically Shanghainese which would be impressive (or not), or Cantonese, probably not Mandarin, a tonal language might be mistranslated into song, etc.
