Continue from last night … her flight to DEN was so delayed at ORD that she missed the last connection to DFW. She boarded this AM at 5:30 MST and should be landing in Texas any minute. Mother Nature had a cruel sense of humor hitting us with this weather at the busiest travel weekend of the year.
So mom's flight (with a stop in Memphis) got cancelled, but she was able to book and board a flight to Denver. So she's well on her way out of Chicago. For the people traveling home from Chicago tomorrow - Good Luck!
follow-up - no change fee, but you still have to pay the difference in the price of the seats ... which is BS IMO, but no one asked me ... Now to get to O'Hare by 2pm ...
