I’ve seen just one counter-protester at No Kings San Diego. He’s got a Trump 2024 flag and this guy has been following him around for probably an hour playing Benny Hill and circus music.

Our city’s protest was peaceful and well organized. People went around handing out water, snacks & know your rights cards. They also went around picking up trash.

Like a 95/5 ratio of supportive honks to thumbs down/middle fingers. It helps feeling like we’re not alone in this.

There are basically only two positions in the debate about AI.
1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.

Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.

Last week, I had the honor of providing the desserts for a 90th birthday celebration for hockey legend Willie O'Ree that his former team, the San Diego Gulls hosted. I made mini chocolate coated cakes in the shape of pucks and eight dozen sugar cookies of his jersey and signature fedora hat. (1/2)

Winter Leagues in Mexico, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic begin today.

While researching a bunch of stuff all day on them I found out that apparently Miguel Cabrera is going to be playing in the Venezuelan Winter League this year and frankly I think that rules.
