This week the Penguins had:

A 3-2 lead with an offensive zone face-off, a power play, and 17 seconds to play.

A 5-1 lead with 14 minutes to play.

A 3-0 lead entering the third period.

They collected just three points and lost all three games.

That can't be tolerated.

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

Announcers please stop bringing up Purdue’s reverse sweeps this year. Thanks

So far I’ve rooted for Tarleton State, Prairie View A&M, the Penguins, Army, South Dakota, and Pitt basketball. Can’t say it’s been a fun Saturday. If anyone wants to place any bets, I’m pulling for the Knicks, Boise State, and OKC tonight

Hate watching a great game come down to a terrible call. Prairie View A&M choked but that South Carolina State conversion was out

We're completely screwed if our response to measles is going to be asking antivaxxers - the most selfish and stupid people in our society - to voluntarily self-report and quarantine for 21 days each every time they get exposed
More than 250 people who were exposed to measles, including dozens of unvaccinated school-aged children, are quarantining in South Carolina as the state wrestles to contain an outbreak that has sickened more than 110 people.
Hundreds Quarantined in South Carolina as Measles Outbreak Shows No Sign of Slowing
The outbreak shows no signs of slowing, likely because of the affected area’s “lower-than-hoped-for vaccination coverage,” a state health official said.

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

Joe Biden showed diminished energy and physical ability and signs of declining mental quickness. The press crucified him and @jaketapper.bsky.social wrote a whole book on it.

Trump is showing CLEAR signs of dementia and personality change/emotional decompensation. Tapper and friends are silent.

Notre Dame had become dangerously close to likable after the transition from Kelly to Freeman and I'm glad they're doing the work to correct that.
Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua to DP Show on the ACC: "We were mystified by the actions of the conference to attack their biggest partner really in football...They have certainly done permanent damage to the relationship between the conference and Notre Dame."

I'm floored that Duke won the ACC.

One of the least deserved titles ever. They fell ass backwards into the game due to stupid tie breakers.

What a joke

It just dawned on me that Miami fired Manny Diaz to make room for Mario Christobal and Diaz is going to make an ACC Conference Title Game before Christobal

Started the day watching Duke come from behind and win. Only fitting to finish the day watching Duke collapse and lose.

I bet Pitt is getting 5 road games in the ACC next year with the conference going to 9 games, so they probably want all home games for the non conference schedule. Sad though because I was planning on making the trip.
The 2026 football game between Pitt and Wisconsin in Madison has been canceled, the two programs announced today.

The 2027 Aer Lingus College Football Classic game in Ireland between these two teams remains on the schedule.

Leave it to the ACC to have a 5-way tie for second place and have a tiebreaker that puts the worst of those 5 teams in their championship game. They deserve to get left out of the playoffs for that reason alone.

I'm thankful Pitt is playing relevant, ranked football. It's Thanksgiving and our next game has postseason implications for us and our opponent.

You can argue the details of the report, sanctions, etc.
But. When so many coaches have demonstrated they don't care if their players hurt women, priority 1 is a coach who takes that shit seriously. The 409 button shows that Terry Smith thinks numbers in a record book are more important than SV.
This has been a ruthless and also cynical campaign by Terry Smith. Putting on the Paterno pin to get the most deranged people in the community on your side. Getting the players behind you so you can claim to be the guy who keeps the roster together. He's fighting! 247sports.com/college/penn...
