This to me says more about the Titans than Schefter. If he didn't hear anything about it, either they're great at keeping things in house (doubtful) or this was a sudden decision that wasn't properly discussed in advance.

If you want to know what it's like to work with me, a coworker flew into Philly then headed to Delaware. I checked in how she liked PA and she said she's already in Delaware.

Jets do have a longer history of it. Titans coasted for a few years on Bud Adams' work but once Strunk started hiring/firing, it all went downhill fast.
