The Colts are in trouble with that remaining schedule. Gave up two first round picks to go all in on a team quarterbacked by Daniel Jones.

It's the best kind of cheeseburger. Cooked on a flat top that probably hasn't been cleaned in 25 years. I would crawl over broken glass for this cheeseburger.

Is Team USA going to botch its Olympic roster? Probably. adamgretz.substack.com/p/is-team-us...
Is Team USA going to botch its Olympic roster?
It might. It always does.

I have to attend a wedding this afternoon, which means I will probably miss most of the game. Probably for the best.

Not oversimplifying it to say goaltending is the difference in this game right now.

Silovs has allowed eight goals on the past 19 shots he's faced. That ain't gonna cut it.

The Penguins won that face-off, had possession, and I think it was Novak just threw it back into their own zone to nobody in particular. Toronto won possession and scored. Just some incredibly stupid plays with the puck lately.

The Penguins were the better team and had the better of the chances that period. Maple Leafs had the better goalie. Let's see how the rest of the game plays out.

Silovs looks horrible tonight. Gotta pull him. Even on the saves he looks bad.

I would love to sit down with the Sportsnet Pittsburgh producers and ask them why the fuck they insist on broadcasting games the way they do, and who is asking them to do so.
November 30, 2025 at 12:30 AM
They controlled the first seven minutes of the game, had nothing to show for it, then give up a goal on the first shot lol

Mild take: Points percentage should be used in playoff standings during the season instead of raw point totals.

Penn State-Rutgers is hilarious. Drunk, fun game.

A truly stunning statistic. And another reminder as to how damaging those OT/SO losses can be.
Only Colorado (1) and Dallas (5) have fewer regulation losses than Pens (6).

Assuming the Avalanche hold on and win today, that will be 18 wins in 25 games to open the season.

50 teams have done that.
49 made the playoffs*
14 made Stanley Cup Final
12 won the Stanley Cup

*The 2015-16 Canadiens were the one team that did not.

The post-game brawl in the tunnel is going to make last year's flag-planting look like a kid's game.
AND THEN BRUTUS DID MORE.

The Pitt-Penn State Pinstripe Bowl is going to be insufferable.

I will probably just to experience it first-hand.

The Notre Dame and Miami games just show how far away Pitt is from the top teams. Just a staggering gap in coaching, roster construction, players. They are not even close.
November 29, 2025 at 7:24 PM
No. 21 for Pitt should not see the field for the rest of the day. Take your helmet off. Keep it off. Sit on the bench. Stay on the bench.
November 29, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Got in the car and drove for 10 minutes. Pitt radio broadcast gave the score of the game zero times. This is a huge pet peeve of mine with radio broadcasters. You can never give the score enough times. People are listening in bits and pieces. Give the score. GIVE THE SCORE.

That is a crazy amount of red in Michigan Stadium

I realize this is more subjective/narrative based than anything objective, but last night was a good example as to why I think it's important to have guys like Bryan Rust around through a rebuild instead of getting a 2nd-round pick or some B-level or prospect for him.
