Every covid infection is a round of Russian roulette where one of the many possible sequelae is suddenly finding yourself unable to eat basically anything in your home.

This is way, way more likely to occur if you're running on estrogen, just like basically every immune disorder.

One of the sequelae to covid is MCAS, and one of the big symptoms of that is acquiring exciting new allergic reactions to random things.

You can suddenly behave allergic to deodorant, soap, wheat, chocolate, garlic, milk, cheese (and anything what contains histamines, such as leftovers), etc.

When the bubble bursts, the world will quickly move away from USD as a reserve currency.

When USD is no longer the reserve currency, all that 'quantitative easing' the fed was able to leverage to soften the impact of the 2k8 mortgage-securities-fraud-that-no-one-was-punished-for won't be possible.

Waiting for the “critics say this was bigoted” in the top of the hour newscast.
Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

DOGE is ending 8 months early. It will have cost us $135B to rehire workers, $21.7B in waste, a potential loss of more than $500B billion in tax revenue over 10 years & a loss of $10B in economic activity with the loss of programs that previously returned billions to taxpayers.

And this is not even considering licensing issues.

For years devs have carefully maintained license info for all OSS code we’ve incorporated into our apps so we can follow requirements and provide necessary attribution, but sure just puree all of GitHub into an AI slurry and shovel it in unlabeled.
It's amazing that any programmer would look at the "take an icepick to the parts of your brain that you use to program" machine and think this is a good idea.

It indicates they are already utterly fucking up at being programmers, even before they touch the bullshit machine.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

authors you have the chance to do the funniest thing right now
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.
