The way to understand it is to realize that the chain of command is built not only on discipline, but on trust. If you're a major in the army and your colonel says to do something, you assume - and legally, you are *required* to assume - that several officers senior to you already vetted it.

1. This is obviously selfish. That is hardly the worst thing Trump has said. It took that specifically?
2. It took the birth of his daughter for him to defend those who are differently abled?

Disturbingly similar fact pattern to Heinz-Wilhelm Eck, a German U-boat commander, who was tried, convicted, and executed after the war for ordering his crew to shoot the survivors of a Greek merchantman sunk by U-852.

Is it just me or are Black Friday "deals" this year really underwhelming?
I mean, I know most "deals" are just marking down merchandise that was artificially marked up in price, but even then this year nothing really seems compelling to care about shopping.

Trump judges rule presidents can exile reporters for "wrong opinions" First Amendment stops at Oval Office door. DOJ argued banning citizens from White House tours based on politics is legal. As a veteran who defended the Constitution, watching courts dismantle it for a dictator makes me rage-sick.
