We have power as consumers and we can leverage that power to protect our democracy. When companies support authoritarianism, we don’t support them. That's why we are asking our whole Indivisible Charlottesville community to join the Indivisible #WeAintBuyingIt campaign.

Looking 👀 at you, Charlottesville! You have shown up in so many ways to protect democracy and our communities.
Over the last year, you could have given into anger and despair.

Instead, you’ve organized in the largest numbers this country has ever seen to reclaim the power of the pro-democracy majority.

We could not be more thankful for you and everything you’re doing to defy Trump’s agenda.

If a man personally implicated in war crimes can remain atop the Pentagon, why would he stand by and risk his freedom should Vance (or Trump again) lose the 2028 election?

And unless Bradley sees the inside of a brig, the message to USSOCOM's chain of command is that no action is impermissible.

The South American boat strikes are plainly murders. Now we have the names of the murderers. Do we have the political will to lock them up?

Could not agree more. Eighth graders write better papers than the one at issue. She’s at a major university, for crying out loud.
Honestly re: that student at OU, I think there should be heavy, heavy mocking. They're gonna be a big stupid bully and join the ranks of the rest of the Toilet Paper USA grifters at this point, why not soundly mock them back & make them uncomfortable to be outside. They'll do it to us in a second.

The most annoying thing in the world constantly telling me we need to encourage politicians when they take quarter measures in response to outcry by showing our appreciation.

No, we actually don't.

Multi-million dinners with CEOs.
Firing independent officials in charge of rooting out corruption.
Giant tax cuts to Trump's billionaire friends.

Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in our nation's history.

Thread. Love you, New York.
The vibe shift today is, I think, due to the fact that New Yorkers were on the offensive instead of the defensive.

Usually with protests, demonstrators have to defend the space, defend their right to march, etc. They get beat up and pushed around and antagonized into chaos and trauma.

The NYT and the Washington Post are simply ignoring the rapidly growing constitutional crisis in the White House. Almost nothing in their news coverage or opinion sections. They are as culpable as anyone in this.

There are specific reasons Trumpists want war on Venezuela, but there‘s a generic one: they crave power to make war on anyone, any time, for completely fabricated reasons, and then to use the guise of war to increase violence and repression everywhere, including home.

They are lawless bestial scum.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

"Men" and "Women" are defined the way President Buttface said in his Big Fancy Statement.

There is a direct correlation between how fake your job is and how much value you see in AI
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

The president is about to start a war for no real reason. All of the things he has blamed on the country he’s targeting — fentanyl distribution, “emptying the asylums” and sending patients to the U.S., alignment with Tren de Aragua— are provably, obviously false.

Lots of people are going to die.

This is essentially Vinay Prasad, who has an MD, declaring his intent to use the government to torture children to dead via preventable disease by knowingly withholding the cure.

To call this despicable is an understatement.
Vinay Prasad of the FDA claims that he has proof that 10 children died from COVID19 vaccines, so the FDA will now target flu shots, look at whether people should receive multiple vaccines at the same time, and make the vaccine approval process significantly more difficult.
FDA to impose strict new vaccine requirements, claiming child covid shot deaths
Vinay Prasad, the nation’s top vaccine regulator, said his team concluded that coronavirus shots were linked to children’s deaths, necessitating a new approach.
