A few weeks ago my colleagues at WestJet had a gear collapse while landing in St Maarten.
It was reported as a “hard landing” and the pilots were blamed in the media.
Much less media coverage with the initial TSB report.
Not a hard landing.
Not the pilots’ fault.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.
It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.
It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

I had a surreal time at the Dubai Airshow. I was able to experience the A380 for the first time with Emirates on the ride there (no, not upstairs), and enjoy some of the sights in the city. Connecting with friends and @infiniteflight.com users while on the other side of the globe was truly unique.

This is such a weird argument. Just listen to music you like.
As someone who is also this guy’s age I can tell you 100% this wasn’t hard at all. The Beatles were Boomer music and they were shoved down your throat everywhere and they reeked of your parents’ nostalgia. Nobody I knew liked The Beatles.

As someone who is this guy's age I can tell you 100% that if you were into Pixies, Nirvana, 120 Minutes stuff, etc. but didn't like the Beatles you had to have worked hard to contort yourself into that special little box. As a Canadian with family and friends in the US, and as an exvangelical and ex-conservative, I very much understand what Trygve is trying to get at here. I also understand the heated pushback. I see zero solutions or ideas offered in the comments. Is it just hopeless?

Oh wow, this is super useful. A ton of these things were set to "hide" for me. I've just set most of them to "warn" instead so I can at least see what the fuss is about and tweak from there.

I sure do miss the days in North America when we could go days… weeks without hearing about some major government or humanitarian crises. I realize we used to have it pretty good when compared to many other parts of the world. Still… I miss it.
