A really balanced piece by the ever impressive Stella Creasy.

Either way, no easy fixes and a long road ahead.
Britain is stuck with a failed Brexit that neither citizens nor leaders want. Here are three ways to fix that | Stella Creasy
While those who defend the status quo and those who say ‘simply rejoin’ the EU are both wrong, there is a new mood and a clear opportunity, says Stella Creasy MP, chair of the Labour Movement for Euro...

There are thousands of trained doctors in the UK right now — unemployed. Not because they’re unnecessary, but because the government refuses to fund the NHS roles we desperately need.

If we have the doctors, we can fund the doctors. So why won’t they?

Why is our government choosing NHS cuts over patient care?

While I think most literate people can be insightful and articulate in text form, if given enough time to collect their thoughts, it is a rare talent to be able to do that verbally, in real time, while responding to interruptions, hostile jibes or pointed questions and STILL get your point across.

The REAL reason Your Party failed: EGO!

It's just like how Corbyn handled Brexit.

He cared more about his socialist ideology, than about the objectives of socialism: Working class well-being.

Again they're putting personality over class unity.
Why did "Your Party" REALLY fail? (Trigger Warning)

I suspected this might be the case. But of course the important details were conveniently omitted, as so often. And not only by the BBC.
The person in question had an initial hospital assessment appointment to the location he’d been accommodated.

The Home Office moved him 200 miles away. He was willing to attend the follow up appointment by public transport. He speaks decent English. Nope. A taxi.

It was a manifesto pledge

Why no 'pragmatic' U-turn' on nationalising water, energy, rail rolling stock companies and freight; ending privatisation of the NHS and social care; taxing the super rich?

I'm hearing criticisms of the end to the two child limit, because it was done just to mollify Labour backbenchers, at a cost of £billions.

I remember another govt delivering a referendum on EU membership, just to mollify restive backbenchers. That's costing way, way more... A little perspective?

Holy shit, just learned about the typewriter art of Montserrat Alberich Escardívol, a Catalan typist. Using an extra wide typewriter and 180 color ribbons, she built up elaborate images from simple characters like 'm' and '.' and ';'. Here is her typewritten painting of the Cathedral of Barcelona.
