Keep your hands at 10 and 2. Hand them your license and insurance. Be polite and if they ask questions just say “I’d rather not answer any questions.”

Just hand the fucking cop your license. I know of no court that doesn't take "present" to mean "hand over" and not handing it over will get you actual criminal charges.

Try the original pre-release version of The Big Sleep, it is on archive.org I think. It was the cut meant to be held back, as Warner Bros. wanted to get their WW2 films out first, and then shoot more scenes with Bacall. But a copy went to the Philippines and was discovered. Interesting comparison.

Reminder that all the "pardons" granted to Jan6ers whose convictions were still pending were auto-pen pardons.
Trump claims “any document” signed by Joe Biden is “hereby terminated.”

I have to think that besides the immorality of killing struggling people, military leaders are alarmed because it invites our adversaries to just shoot and kill American troops instead of capturing them in an armed conflict.
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.
