Moving in. Like Japan and doujin games.
Dodged a virtual bullet. Tried installing very old drivers onto this W10 PC. Buggered up the Registry. Took an hour but Windows fixed itself. Back in the game, after a very nervous spell. Well done Micro$oft, I never doubted you.

In other news, is there no way to recover Iomega Zip Discs now?

"What takes every holiday get-together to the next level? Amazing food, of course! "
That is the wrong answer! The correct answer is modern boardgames. And no crisps.

Also, stop pressuring people to make social time next level. We've got enough trouble keeping afloat. Screw the next level.
What takes every holiday get-together to the next level? Amazing food, of course! And that's where Suzy Gazzellone of Suzy's Cake Angels comes in – and she's here to share her mouth-watering recipes for cakes, cookies and cupcakes. FULL INTERVIEW: www.chch.com/morning-live...

USians cannot pronounce pasties correctly, so instead of learning how to pronounce pasties correctly, they force everybody else in the world to call them hand pies.
These yummy Beef and Mushroom Hand Pies are great for lunch, dinner or a portable snack! youtu.be/SUFgyslX6nc

The primary function of a motor car is to demonstrate wealth and status.

If getting around easily was primary, they'd be thinner.
If safety was primary, they'd painted white or yellow and not black or red.

Too tiny for me to get in focus. This houseplant I don't know puts out teeny purple flowers right off the stem. And it has actually self seeded, which is amazing to me.

Is Farage still facing scrutiny over his partner’s £885k Frinton home.

Is it aggressive tax avoidance? Has he misled voters? Where’s the transparency? What’s happening?

Just asking questions.

A few years back, we got a bendy bus with a ticket machine only that did not take bank notes and rejected most coins. So people literally could not pay. They still convicted them for theft (fare evasion). Driver was in a cockpit. Literally no way to pay but they still prosecuted and convicted.
The new integrated payments on Christchurch Metro lets you use a credit card, but you can only buy one ticket. Driver was having to give free rides to family members because there was no way to pay for them. Surprised nobody anticipated the rare scenario of buying two bus tickets.

Nov. 30, 1925: Yoshiko Kawashima, a Chinese princess living in Japan, says, "I am sick of being a girl, so I have become a boy." The 18-year-old has gotten a crew cut and shed her kimonos and dresses for male attire, after being annoyed too many times by marriage proposals. 1/4

@alfie.photography I have questions please.

Do you use a tech pouch at all?

How do you carry cables, memory cards, charger, when you are travelling?

If so, do you have any preferred brands or products?

Is there anything worth picking up when in Japan?

Another mini-moon? Maybe. Newly discovered 2025 US6 is officially listed as an asteroid.

Unlike our quasi-moon 2025 PN7, this one is actually bound to Earth, for now.

Its orbit is pure chaos. Enjoy it while it lasts. It’ll probably be demoted to space junk.

Looking at getting some kind of bag to carry my phone and bits and wow is this a complex area! Tech pouch, sling pouch and now sacoche bags! So many video reviews hyping what they've been sent, hard to know what to get. Do I buy one now or wait till I am there? A sacoche seems my use case but...

Could a strong magnet leading protect tyres? An electromagnet that gets stronger with acceleration, so there's enough time to lift the shrapnel. Maybe you only need to lift the object off the surface, not catch it, so it bounces off the tyre front instead of going under.

I should patent this.
My car told me about losing tyre pressure. Checked it out. Seemed ok but pumped it up. Same error today. Found the offending screw in it

Brother helped fix it. All good again

I know I’m a bit of a loose screw lately…

RUSH touring again brings me joy. Even if I wont see them live, that they are starting up has let me listen to their music again. For years now, it has been too sad for me. Lifeson selling off his guitars was so final. That part of my pleasure was terminated. I was sad for them and for me. But now 😀

This channel is photos of minerals or brief videos of a hand wobbling a mineral around to catch the light.

Just my cup of tea!

Our planet has so much to offer. And, crystals are one place that straight lines occur in Nature. As straight as they can manage. I can't think of other natural straights.

I always liked George Tuska's art. Very under-appreciated now and then. Tuska was clear, well structured, solid, strong lines, fairly plain, not flashy at all. He carried the story well with strong expression. But nobody rates his work today. It's all Kirby Ditka Buscema stans.
Iron Man Cover A Day:

Invincible Iron Man #11 (Release Date: December 5, 1968. Cover Date: March 1, 1969.)

Writer: Archie Goodwin
Penciller: George Tuska

Featuring: Mandarin, Robots of the Mandarin, Mei Ling (death), Janice Cord, Tony Stark L.M.D.

For his work on The Green Hornet, Lee was told to slow his moves down. He was too fast for the television cameras to pick up the action.
It’s Bruce Lee’s birthday.
Here’s the time he was asked to show some ‘kung-fu movements’ & an elderly assistant director was nominated to be the practice dummy.

Oh look. Somebody holding the plug in. Because that's what you do when you charge an EV. You stand there holding the plug in.

Actually, you bugger off and do something else, like sleep. But for the media you've got to stand there holding the plug in. That's the only way.
