HUGE. A fed judge in the BLM vs City of Los Angeles case has banned LAPD from using 40mm rubber bullets at protests. "Defendants have not demonstrated substantial compliance or that all reasonable steps have been taken to be in compliance with the Court’s Preliminary Injunction Order."

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

We are deeply grateful for those who've helped so far, shares and donations are huge. We have hit 4% and are planning for fundraising streams. If you are interested in helping out or giving towards some raffles, feel free to DM us!

Lets get @rocketsandpens.bsky.social to a safe place.
So 2026 didnt start the best way for me. Before 2025 ended, we were served a 90 day notice to evict our apt. No reason stated and when asking my mother for details, I never really got a straight answer. I'm finally opening up about my struggles for the last 3 years.

The problem we are have is that we are in a society which decided that genocide was not a redline/dealbreaker.

So when you say "why aren't they getting it? They are throwing flashbangs at babies!?" remember that these are the same people who approved white phosphorous bombs on children's hospitals.

What is being built here is GENERATIONS of trauma.

The reality is that with the psychological warfare the US is enacting combined with the rampant use of chemical weapons on children mixed with the end of preventative care they've ensured unknown health disasters for years to come.
My daughter's school in Richfield, MN (adjacent to Minneapolis) is closing tomorrow due of out-of-control federal agents. Fourth graders spent the week building walls of snow at recess to protect their classmates from ICE. This isn't about immigration enforcement, it's about terror.

I've read most of the scholarship about US policing since the early 20th century. What you learn from this is that violence is inherent. You cannot "separate" out violence from policing. Police in the U.S. are violence workers.

Non-protesting dad just trying to hustle his kids, as young as 6mo, out of the neighborhood. ICE threw a flash-bang INTO HIS car, all 6 kids in the hospital now.

If anyone wondered how things turn against occupying armies there's a case study playing out in front of you.

Have never seen so much gas. It's not a competition, Chicago endured horrors upon horrors, but this was just relentless

Still fucking coughing 🚬
There is so much tear gas in the air it can be felt driving on the other side of highway 94 in Minneapolis - in your car.

It is (again) official, the US Government is using chemical weapons domestically that our military banned use of over 35 years ago due to extreme toxicity and unpredictable long term effects!

This article is a must read. archive.is/qKlnw

Gas Masks and eye protection are a must have now.

"Defense Technologies, an imprint of Pennsylvania-based security equipment manufacturer Safariland, markets the HC canisters as “military-style” smokers, even though the U.S. military actually stopped using HC in grenades in the 1990s due to its extreme toxicity."
Minneapolis, avoid the green gas.

I am seeing folks still planning travel to the US for events.

So a reminder that this was what they were doing to White travelers last year before they'd really ramped up the ICE/CBP kidnapping/torture/murder machine.

Cancel. There's no money, game or networking worth it. There is no real advice to give because the "rules" don't exist in practice.

But it you must:
Check in frequently with people in & out of the country. If you get denied entry, be prepared for that to follow you indefinitely.

I need people to stop "defending" victims of murder by saying things like: "they weren't a criminal" or "they weren't homeless on the street, doing drugs." We do not cede anyone's humanity. Would murder be okay if the victim WERE "homeless on the street, doing drugs?" That's what you're implying.
