We live in a funny world: just making the most of it, one day at a time. Tweeter. Liberaler. Quiddler. Un buveur d’encre. A recovering frog after slowly cooking in Musks cauldron for too long.

Mt current wish list for @bsky.app new features - when they can find the time:
- draft posts, that work cross device. Let me save tweets and come back to them
- bookmarks
- ability to mute reposts selectively ie per account. Some people post a lot of RTs, but I dont want to mute them entirely

Since a lot of the coverage is omitting this detail: The Kennedy Center HAD a $250 million renovation and expansion just a few years ago, in 2019.

If a university student group had celebrated Charlie Kirk being killed, complete with a graphic made from an actual picture of the killing, the whole lot of them would have been expelled before the ink on the digital story was dry.

Setting aside the deeply wacky window dressing, Qanon essentially just mislabeled the pedophile elites as "the left" instead of...themselves.

Reactionaries projecting their dreams onto their enemies like an 8K IMAX theater.
Imagine we’ve all been laughing at conspiracy theorists for years but it turns out a massive paedophile ring *is* running the world, actually, and the “elites” are all part of it. Next you’ll be telling me they’re lizards
Newly released documents show British Labour peer Peter Mandelson kept sex trafficking paedophile Jeffrey Epstein informed about the campaign against Kevin Rudd's proposed mining tax.

They’ve raked in $5 billion from it

If this is what's going on now, just imagine the levels of corruption we'd descend into if the Farage cult got anywhere near Number 10.

Reform UK Ltd. are basically a front for foreign and offshore wealth and oligarchy.

Britain would become nothing more than an ATM.
It's rare to see how lobbyists operate. But the Epstein-Mandelson correspondence shows us what happens all the time: plutocrats and government ministers conspiring against the public interest. This is why all lobbying should be in the public domain, but despite Labour and Con promises, it's not. 🧵

Protest groups need to train volunteers on how to recognize & deter infiltrators, imposters, agitators & accelerationists.

This is CRUCIAL.
Trump is always telling on himself. He plans to send proud boys dressed as black bloc to vandalize federal buildings in liberal cities, so he can declare martial law and thus indefinitely suspend elections. So obvious.

Much comment about how the Assisted Dying bill is likely to die in the Lords, filibustered out this session. Some talk of using the Parliament Act to push it through in the next session. That would be legal if perhaps dubious. That said, the one death being brought forward by the Lords is their own

Controversial opinion #bbcr4today So far as we know, Mandelson hasnt done anything illegal, as opposed to utterly distasteful etc. Calls for a variety of punishments are about prior judgement of him and others, but not (yet) that reach a criminal bar.

Does Reform get any money from people who actually live in Britain and make their £ here? The largest donation Farage got was from a Brit who lives in Thailand making it on crypto. Why is democracy being sold to such foreign interests?

Much of the Epstein files stuff begs the question 'where did his money come from? was it all 'earnt'?'
Like with Farage and how his supposedly assetless girlfriend bought his Clacton home for him, dont let the loose ends and legitimate questions go unanswered.
