Tight Squeeze

As I just happened to be passing through Hendon Central Underground station, I couldn't resist capturing a train departing into one of the tight tunnels that are viewable at the end of the platform.

It always amazes me that the trains fit 😅

Entrance - Shadwell

I can't believe I've ignored this entrance to Shadwell Docklands Light Railway station for so long. It's a great subject for a rainy day. I must revisit next time I'm puddle hunting and will capture this with my ultrawide lens so I can reflect the whole arch

UNBOXING THE NEW SIRUI 35MM 1.4

So I rarely talk about camera gear on here, but I was recently sent this new lens by Sirui for my Sony Mirrorless camera. A 35mm is great for street photography, so I'm very excited to use this lens to capture images for my Tube Mapper project.

So the answer to the most important question is yes, you can still pretend to drive the DLR.

However it's a little taller than the previous model so some kids may need a lap for a boost!

Stamping Time!

My wife convinced me to buy a stamp years ago & I love using it. She always laughs about how loud I stamp envelopes when packaging books & calendars.

Inside The New DLR Train

I love that the carriages are joined on the new Docklands Light Railway trains, meaning that you can now walk the entire length of the train. This angle makes it look futuristic!

There's a very useful connection between Waterloo East Railway station and Southwark Underground station.

However every time I walk between stations, it feels like I'm going through border control.

Light & Shadow

I love the secret feature at Nine Elms London Underground station that reveals itself during a sunny day.

If you arrive at the perfect moment, the roundel logo is beautifully projected onto the floor.

So I took Dancer Andreya with me to interact with the scene.

Bullet Train

Looking back these photos taken a while back of a train shooting out of a tunnel towards a Hamilton theatre poster. It looks like the man in the poster is staring down the barrel of his shotgun at the approaching train.
