2026 LONDON UNDERGROUND A3 CALENDAR

I'm proud to announce my 2026 Tube Mapper Calendar, full of my fave moments as I explore every stop on the Underground, Overground, DLR, Tram & Elizabeth line.

Please share with anyone who'd enjoy this! 😀
I love seeing cars being transported on the railway. It's always a pleasant surprise.

I need to get in contact with a car manufacturer/supplier and plan a photo location to capture this, as it's quite a sight!

Tunnel Vision - Oxford Circus

I quite like the dramatic effect of some of the temporary advert wraps that take over a walkway or small area of a station. This orange passageway certainly caught my eye.

So pleased that my Tube Mapper Calendars are finding new homes for Christmas. There's still time to get yours. I'll put a link in a thread below...
Looking forward to planning my next year with the help of the fine work of @tubemapper.bsky.social - looks great!

Favourite Stations

Meet Tom a writer whose favorite Tube station is… Cockfosters

After 10+ years riding the Piccadilly Line, the name stuck with Tom & inspired a whole play

Welcome to a new branch of the Tube Mapper project exploring people's favourite stations on the tube map.

Short snippet from my interview with Shay at BBC Radio London on the 9th December talking about the Tube Mapper photography project. Calendars, favourite stations on the London Underground and moquette jackets.

A quick observation capturing the angel Christmas street lights behind the TFL Roundel logo at the entrance to Oxford Circus tube station.

The roundel looks like it has angel wings.

This is the view from the other Bakerloo line platform at Piccadilly Circus. You can see both trains from this vantage point.

Ready To Go - Piccadilly Circus

If you walk the end of the Bakerloo line platform at Piccadilly Circus you can see the waiting train on the other platform. Here's a photo just before it launched into the tunnel.

Its time for the Angel on the Christmas tree!

Colourful Shadow Walk

Another photo taken at one of my favourite locations on the London Underground tube map.

If the sun is out, and in the correct position at Nine Elms station, it can project beautiful shadows of the London Underground roundel on to the station floor.

Ooh going on BBC radio very shortly to talk about the Tube Mapper project

I was hypnotized looking at the windows behind the roundel at Cockfosters London Underground station.

Reflections - Finchley Central

One of the benefits of UK's yearly rainy season is puddle hunting. I'm always on the lookout for unique compositions in puddles. I was very happy with this view at Finchley Central London Underground station.

So there's still plenty of time to get the Tube Mapper calendar. I was selling some of these in a Christmas market the other day and came up with the tagline...

"It's a gift that lasts a whole year!"

Anyway I'm very proud of the selection of images in the calendar so do enjoy.

Favourite Stations

Meet Mel, a train driver whose favorite station is Newbury Park, the place where her love of trains began.

I've started a new branch of the Tube Mapper project exploring people's favourite station or stop on the London Underground Tube Map.

Dance into the Weekend!

Another photo of Viola dancing in the spotlight at Baker Street station.

The dramatic lighting & architecture at Baker St station naturally encourages commuters to wait in the spotlight. I always think it looks like people are ready to perform on stage.

Surprisingly some people don't know that I have 3 books available, so I've been reminded to promote them.

Here's a collection of photos from my 3rd book Contrast on the London Underground.

I'll attach a link to My photography books below.

Lady In Red, Green Park

I love the Mondrian colours on the Jubilee Line platform at Green Park station.

Dancer Viola was wearing a red dress, so I couldn't resist taking a quick photo of her at one of the most colourful locations on the London Underground

Absolutely love the Docklands Light Railway.

Here are some photos from Pontoon Dock DLR Station.

Framed - Kenton

Photo of an Overground train arriving at Kenton London Underground station. I love how the surrounding tunnel acts like a wonky frame.

It's The 1st of December

It's Bow Road Station month in the 2025 Tube Mapper Calendar.

This Grade II listed building opened in 1902 and has an array of features including these striking colourful hexagonal pillars.
