Re-introduction post time!

I'm Iain, a writer and narrative designer for games and tv. I wrote and designed for League of Legends champions, then was a writer/co-producer for Netflix's The Dragon Prince, and most recently led narrative design for XADIA.

I mostly bought records just to actually give artists some money in the streaming era. But with the rebuild I’m pretty determined to put together a hi fi system that can be heard around the house and in the yard, so I’ll probably care more about intentionally rebuilding a record collection

agree. I'm sympathetic to where the OP is coming from, we've all become exhausted by people making their tastes their entire personality and having a meltdown when challenged, but we shouldn't avoid having stances on account of those folks. I can, should, and must say that Interstellar sucks ass

respectfully: no. develop your own taste, absolutely, but own it. it's fine to think that popular thing is bad. it's fine to not have an opinion too, but i see statements like this one all the time and i just want to push back a bit: there's nothing wrong with having the courage of your convictions.
