Reagan economic policies are WHY young people can't afford college, a home, kids, etc. Why their parents didn't get a raise for forty years. Why We Have Trillionaires.

Without Reagan, no Trump.

"Reagan Republicans" are vile.

Oh my god. Of course living on the streets is bad. Guess what? A lot of people you wouldn’t think live on the streets, live on the streets. A lot of gainfully employed people stay in shelters. I’m tired of these daft ass distinctions.

Everyone wants to distance themselves from the poor because it feels nice to look down and say “at least that’s not me.”

It could be any of us at any time. That’s how the system is set up. Bills and financial responsibilities don’t stop because you can’t work.

There’s no shame in admitting it.

My mission has been refusal to adopt this shit, and I wish many others would refuse to adopt it. We all need to start gray rocking these tech bros and their products like the narcissists they are
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

They can't read well. K to 12 have been forced to pass students along. Giving them 50s when it should be 0 because they did nothing. Giving them worksheets instead of books. Cell phones way too early. I think people thought these kids wouldn't go to college but they are and they are not prepared.
I've never encountered more students who say they hate reading. Students who want to be teachers, writers, or both. I wonder if "hate" means "I have trouble reading," but I also talk with so many students who write in a genre but refuse to read in it. They can't see themselves in relation to others.
