"homespun proto plex" sounds fancier than the reality of making my desktop also be a NAS with dyndns, that i could then ftp into from anywhere to download standard definition xvid encodes compressed way down such to fit 120+ minutes of video onto a 650mb CD-R

i haven't used it much since digital! had the free RCA box they sent everyone and mostly used it to watch late nite knife show

i think i still have a homemade fractal antenna around here somewhere, but i'm less sure that i have anything to hook it up to since i dont have a computer interface for it

yeah, and that addresses my main issue with The Boys, that it's a little too grim in its conclusions

(which its gotta be, i think, as a cyclical seasonally-renewed show; as opposed to DCU stuff where they can do character development and follow up on plot in another title)
