Just some he/him dude.
This is one area that Paul has been consistently right about for more than a decade, under presidents of both parties.

What we're doing in the Carribbean is outrageous obviously. But to call it unprecedented would be to ignore that we've been doing this in the middle east since Obama.
Rand Paul: "This is an insane policy. It's inconsistent. It's not war. It's not the way we've ever done this. If we can blow up a boat in the ocean, what about when they get to Miami & put it in a truck? Can you shoot a grenade launcher at the truck? No! We arrest people b/c sometimes we're wrong."

Shit, I would dump Calibri for Times New Roman or just about any serif font. Fuck, Rubio is making me feel icky for having strong serif preferences.

Stephen Miller: "If you subtract immigration out of test scores, all of the sudden our test scores skyrocket"

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

Flew for more than an hour, covered less than a mile, touched the canyon walls, chatted with hikers on the trails, and boxed almost all the way back to our launch site. Pretty epic morning. (Pictures stolen from passengers. I was busy, lol).

i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

In my jurisdiction, one of the ways you can prove that a murder was "willful and deliberate" is that the killer shot at someone who had already been incapacitated.

That's the part that sticks with me.

This isn't some Tom Clancy novel where they do war crimes because it's the only way they can get at the evil terrorist criminal mastermind or something.

Even if we believe them -- and, ha ha, no! -- they murdered low level drug runners. That's it!
this is just murder, and pointless murder at that.

Excited to see how they manage to strike down CA's gerrymander almost certainly using "analysis" that is impossible to square with the "analysis" in this decision upholding TX's gerrymander.
these clowns are REALLY going to say that Texas’s map - which targeted majority minority districts - was NOT discrimination on the basis of race.

But they’ll say Louisiana’s map - drawn to comply with the Voting Rights Act and give Black voters representation- DID discriminate on the basis of race

Laughs in Abq criminal defense attorney. They don't use any special set up for attorney visits here. We just wander through the pods. No reason attorneys need a special room set up for them to visit.
McNally asks Defendants what the problem is with attorneys getting into Broadview

Defense: People come through for short periods of time, the idea is to get them to their final destination. Broadview isn't set up for attorney visits.

A President Pritzker or whoever signs an executive order making the US a party to the ICC (yeah, it theoretically requires Congressional approval, but the President is king now), rounds up Hegseth et al, and jets them off before their lawyers can intercede.

When the US falls ass backwards into a war with Venezuela with a significant percentage of our own population rising up in protest, I bet Putin is going to find that very intimidating.

How many Americans are we losing to alcoholism every day?

Are we going to declare war on Anheuser-Busch and drone strike the Clydesdales?
Sen. Roger Marshall defends Hegseth: "Look, we're losing 200 Americans every day to drug poisoning from these drug lords. This is a war. And it's ugly. War is never pretty ... that strike probably saved thousands of American lives."

While everyone is debating whether the second strike was legal, let me point out that none of the first strikes were legal. If a foreign government started blowing up US boats, killing Americans, in international waters, that would be illegal. The US would consider that an act of war.

Breaking news: Government officials said they are increasingly concerned that the Trump administration intends to scapegoat the military officer who directed U.S. forces to kill survivors of a targeted strike on suspected drug smugglers in Latin America.
Hegseth, with White House help, tries to distance himself from boat strike fallout
As Congress vows accountability, the Trump administration emphasized it was a top military commander — not the defense secretary — who directed the engagement.

Don LaFontaine.
This is a Bill Simmons game, but you’re stranded on a desert island. You can only have one actor’s filmography. You get it all, including cameos. But just the one performer.

I’m taking Cate Blanchett: Talented Mr. Ripley, LOTR, Life Aquatic, Black Bag, Tár, Ponyo, Hot Fuzz, Eyes Wide Shut, Thor
