Add in how they're about to give an open license to abusive practice to force kids to repress their gender identity and sexuality and it really makes clear how conservatives don't think children are beings with rights. They are the property of their parents.

NEW: The Supreme Court will not hear a case over a Colorado school district’s alleged actions discouraging disclosure of students’ gender identity to the students’ parents.

The case was a bad vehicle for considering the issue, even Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch note.

I've been screaming into the void about the puritanical expansion of sex offenses for years, but this is so far beyond the pale I can't even begin to describe it.
