He/Him - Chicago
A failing satellite on the edge of the void. Methodically invested. A drummer, so I always get to move to my own beat. Find the things you love and try to put more of it into the world.
My heart is absolutely broken right now. Can’t express more right now, but please hold your pets extra close for me and let them know how much you love them.

Friend apologized for responding late on something and said, "Horrors got in the way."

Going to be using that.

"I know I said I'd give you call about that thing but horrors got in the way."

Oh: we live in Minnesota.

DOCTOR: I told him he needed to get out to a show, that was how he would cure his depression.

CHOTINER: So you learned this technique in school?

DR: No, not— listen it was good advice. Pagliacci was in town.

C: Right. Is it standard to give advice before learning a patient’s name?

DR: Now look

6 years ago today, when this decade seemed to have so much more potential, one of the coolest things happened: My favorite Canadian band played an outdoor show in Winnipeg using instruments made from (actual + sampled) ice. Most fomo I’ve had for a live show. Luckily, they made a documentary.

I was never disappointed for Catherine O’Hara showing up on screen. She seemed to find a way to elevate everything she appeared in.

A lot of wonderful tributes, but my mind went to Nightmare Before Christmas. Such a vast and impressive career.

When I was a kid this was the kind of music I wanted to get into. Still probably do. Can only find credits for the types of synths and Australian production studio.

Oddly enough, the closest sounding thing I can think of now is portions of Oingo Boingo’s 1981 cover of “You Really Got Me”

My cat has finally realized he can traverse the new bathroom vanity for his much coveted sink water. Here he is judging us from the queue for the loo while we eat dinner.

I was a sensitive kid. I loved cats. I had OCD, undiagnosed.

When I was 9, a fraternity brother tortured a cat to death in my hometown. The details even now are beyond imagination. archive.is/xdmUL

I was traumatized for years from reading the news story.

The torturer? Now the head of the NRA.

Not could. Have.

Fred Hampton.
The way the American government just lies to its citizens is insane. You could be at home sleeping and 5 masked thugs break into your bedroom and kill you in your sleep, and high ranking officials will go on TV and declare you're a terrorist and they acted in self defense

This moment should have a “Prince walking on stage to solo on ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’” level of infamy.

Audience member boldly requests “Creep,” Jon Brion sarcastically accepts, begins waltzing through it, then a third of the way through laughs at the thought of a Tom Waits cover…
