I sincerely wish more people had this mentality. The world these is days is shitty enough, don't let a team losing (which you can do absolutely nothing about) to affect you so much that it causes you to be nasty & hateful or to ruin your day/week.
I feel that way about sports in general. Your team winning should be a +10 in your life. Losing should be a -1. Or a -2 if it's particularly painful. Curse and brood for a few minutes and then move on. Save any real anger for inept ownership and management.
