Agreed. I homeschooled my boys. My youngest is in Grade 11. He's enrolled with a Distance Ed school. Until Gr10, it was "do what you want and report back. Cover these topics." Now it's the regular curriculum, with online office hours if it's too much for Mom (e.g. chemistry)

Eep. Yeah, we have neighbours like that. The kids were homeschooling after Grade 7, and well... Now they both have a Grade 7 education, and a mom who can't figure out why they can't get jobs (they're 17 and 19 now.) They're great boys and I just want to get them some education! Esp the younger one!

I buy 2 turkeys at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. One for the day and one for a month or so later. I don't do all the sides. Just cook up the turkey and have meat for sandwiches for a week. We don't eat pork or chicken, so it's a nice change.

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.

Neurotypicals need to stop telling autistic kids to carry a blue bucket to justify being nonverbal, or not wearing a costume.

Stop asking kids to carry a literal sign they're different.

If a kid shows up on Halloween, give them candy. No requirements. Period.

I just got into Stellaris, and holy shit. Overwhelming is right! Loving it! I have CK2 sitting there, unplayed. CK3, and now this game, are going to sit on my wishlist until they're cheap enough for my wallet. :)
