The energy transition happens often in unlikely places at unprecedented rates.

Take Nepal: Over the past year, electric vehicles accounted for 76 percent of all passenger vehicles and half of the light commercial vehicles sold in Nepal.

Five years ago, that number was essentially zero.

“Climate change isn’t everything“ is becoming a go-to justification for delaying action.

This is - deliberately or inadvertently - a misframing of the issue. The point isn’t CC is everything, it’s that it’s essential to deal with.

I was viciously beaten by my alcoholic mother for the vast majority of my childhood, broken ribs and a chipped eye socket are in my medical notes - don’t let his happen to more kids!!!!
If you own a child care centre and grant every cis woman a blanket security clearance but simultaneously deny this to either men or trans women, you are treading on precarious grounds, potentially enabling women who abuse children to go undetected.

If our governments continue to fail to support Ukraine, we will all need to follow the example of Jan Polak and Martin Ondracek from the Czech Republic, who raised €500,000 to fund a long-range Flamingo missile for Ukraine's Armed Forces in less than 48 hours.
