I would simply not use a national party body to intervene in a primary race and instead build infrastructure for the eventual nominee, trusting the choice of primary voters, but then again I lack the political acumen of people who have steered the party into its lowest ever modern approval rating.

Remember when Stephen Miller claimed the Chicago apartment raid was on a building “filled with Tren de Aragua terrorists”?

Well, DHS has now dropped the number of alleged TdA members arrested in the building from 2 to 1.

Just one "verified" Tren de Aragua member and one U.S. citizen with an active warrant were among the 37, DHS said, without saying how it had verified that gang affiliation. Others taken that day, the agency said, were "illegal aliens."

A lot of white people don’t believe any bad thing is real until it happens to them personally, and since racism can’t happen to white people, some don’t think it exists at all or that Black people are exaggerating (I’ve heard that one a lot from other white people over the years).

Americans hear sirens every day because every day there are multiple shootings in this country, some of which are perpetrated by the police. This week alone AZ police (in Queen Creek, El Mirage, and Phoenix) shot three people.

Very jarring how the media treats some lives as inherently and others not.

I am happy for hostages and their families to be reunited, but it’s shocking how little media attention is given to “how do Gazans grapple with the utter destruction of their homes, vast loss of lives, and ongoing famine.”
