and you know, we really all should parrot the snowflake calls back at them. they made that word a negative one, toss it back in their faces any time they get whiny about people being mean to them.

plus it's *FUN* to make fun of assholes and watch them get all "snowflakey" about it. they can dish it out, but they can't take it.

Why anyone would want any politician’s signature on their watch baffles me. People buying them are probably big invicta fans. Like literal big 47mm clonker invictas.

These people are just itching to inflict violence on fellow Americans. And make no mistake, a lot of them are looking forward to being allowed to go weapons hot.

Federal officer blasts chemical spray into vocal but nonviolent Portland protester, video shows

The interaction illustrates how federal law enforcement officers do use aggressive tactics against protesters who yell and needle officers but don’t appear to present clear physical threats.

hard to go wrong with his books. i've read his whole catalog. his snarkasm and liberal use of f-bombs make me happy.

Or Mary Robinette Kowal "Lady Astronaut" series.

I don't know if i'd call them "optimistic," but I'm a huge fan of Martha Wells' Murderbot series.

if you liked The Martian, have you read Hail Mary yet?

Scalzi is generally positive and a fun, easy read. On the truly "fun" side, one off books like Redshirts, Fuzzy Nation, Agent to the Stars, Kaiju Preservation Society, Starter Villain, and When the Moon Hits Your Eye.

shit, video creators could use the same advice. it's bad enough it takes way longer to listen to them give you the same info you could read, but they ramble so much i spend more time fast-forwarding than listening. just fucking get to the point!

One, that's not how copyright works and there will be an entire battalion of IP lawyers who will be happy to correct Open AI of this misapprehension, likely to the tune of billions of dollars, and two, fuck this shitty thieving waste of proteins and lipids

it's time to bring in the next "jason werth" type signing. then the next "max scherzer" signing. not doing that shows they're not ready to commit to coming out of "rebuild" mode.

Well, there it is. Sinclair is digging in for a fight, so please help push back -- find stations in your area, watch their local news to see what ads they run, then write those advertisers to tell them you're boycotting as long as they're on a Sinclair station.

List here: sbgi.net/tv-stations/

my go-to for audio setup testing has always been the Yes 90215 album. some of the best separation of highs/mids/lows. in particular the song changes, but the whole album is one of the best engineered i've ever heard.

This is hilarious. Even the Dutch are way ahead of us in seeing how bad things are in the United States with Donald Trump running amok and corporations capitulating to fascism.

But, then again, the Netherlands has experience with being taken over by fascists.

one more reason we don't really need "internet connected" appliances with screens. it's just one more way they'll shove ads down your throat.
