The Fraud (the book) is too long, too detailed and it labours (no pun intended) many of its points. But it is very good on the relentless rise of the small clique around the Labour Together project and their extremely lucky rise to power - and their completely hapless attempts at 'governing'.

Reading The Fraud on the Starmer rise to power. What is striking, and I think new, about the book is the way it details the Labour Together project to seize the party, and then the country - and that these are exactly the people now in charge - McSweeney, Starmer, Reed, Mahmood, Streeting, Reeves.

The concentration on the 'second bomb' to kill off the survivors on the 'drug boat' (no evidence provided) strangely reminds me of the Fosse Ardeatine trial in Rome in the 1990s where there was a surreal concentration on the '5 extra' people massacred in reprisal by the Nazis.

Yesterday the President fell asleep, yet again, during a televised fake Cabinet meeting staged so that each of his courtiers could heap praise on him, praise for which he couldn't stay conscious. He woke up just long enough to spew racism. Why is this not being treated as an emergency? >

Mr. Hegseth had said that he watched the operation live on video before he “moved on” to his next meeting. But following news reports about the second U.S. strike, Mr. Hegseth said he “didn’t stick around” to see it.
