This always a lovely festive thing to do (even if it is only November!) 📚🎄
It’s time! The Bert's Books Secret Santa.

Sign up by 30th November, and pick a book you'd like to gift to someone else.

I'll work out the best person to send that book to - and in return you'll get a book to unwrap too!

Amazing story of four vintage clothing dealers rescuing depression-era workwear from an Appalachian farmhouse, and the story that the very visible mending tells of a family with nothing, doing whatever they could to make it through.

Just read this incredibly prescient novel, first published in 1934, charting the Nazi party’s rise through the eyes of an ordinary family, written by an English woman.

Makes for chilling reading at this particular time but I can’t stop thinking about it. Highly recommended

🚨 Giant Cat Sighting in Manchester!

A 10-metre-long feline has taken up residence at Manchester Museum- and it’s very asleep. 😴

The Cat That Slept for a Thousand Years is a family-friendly exhibition, and it's free (you just need to book online!)

Do go and see The Cat That Slept for a Thousand Years at Manchester Museum - its purrs get louder when you pet it and its ears and tail twitch! 😸
