Just read this incredibly prescient novel, first published in 1934, charting the Nazi party’s rise through the eyes of an ordinary family, written by an English woman.
Makes for chilling reading at this particular time but I can’t stop thinking about it. Highly recommended

Such an engrossing read from @bethlewis.bsky.social Loved that the 3 main characters are based on real women who were part of the Canadian Gold Rush. Highly recommend it!
