An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

Related to the problem when the latter Star Wars trilogies' plots involve cloning--a hard scifi concept that just doesn't integrate easily with fantasy. (What they end up with is really more like magic human duplication; all the Palpatines on the Planet of Palpatines appear to be the same age)
