The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

Happy Thanksgiving. Our government is deporting individuals that are no threat to us to countries that they’ve never seen or don’t remember in order to defend land we brutally stole from indigenous people. That’s what America’s about right?
I feel much safer today knowing that we deported a Babson College student back to a country where she hasn't lived since childhood.
She wasn't even flying internationally. She was flying to Texas.

Happy Thanksgiving. Our government is deporting individuals that are no threat to us to countries that they’ve never seen or don’t remember in order to defend land we brutally stole from indigenous people. That’s what America’s about right?

There are 50,000 food insecure children in Maine and 2 trans athletes. Every single candidate running for office who can drum up concern about the latter but has nothing to say about the former is telling on themselves. They don’t care about children. Only power. And they’ll hurt kids for it.

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.
