Many (most?) Democratic politicians are still playing by the old rules. Negotiation, compromise, horse trading.
I very much wish we still lived in that world.
Trump takes whatever he can today, and will take whatever he can tomorrow.

I would have never voted to support this NDAA. We need to stand up to the Trump Regime’s deployment of troops on American soil and vilification of Trans and minority service members. Why did RI’s senators capitulate???

RI’s senators failed a crucial test in standing up to Trump to remove troops from American cities and protect trans and minority service members. I would have never capitulated like this.

I am so done with these guys. They just keep following their clueless party leadership and giving Republicans whatever they want. Republicans long ago lost any hope of ever getting my vote, but Reed and Whitehouse are now in the same boat. If they’re on the ballot, I’m not helping them.

What a deep disappointment @reed.senate.gov & @whitehouse.senate.gov Compromising on these 3 things shows deep moral failure even when politics is not checkers but chess. Protect transgender rights, DEI is an extension of constitutional rights, US soldier deployment in the US is an abomination.
